Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz Prosecutor General's Offices sign Cooperation Program
A delegation led by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev has traveled to Bishkek for a working visit to participate in the upcoming meetings of the chief prosecutors of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), according to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Paralel.Az reports.
On July 24, a series of bilateral meetings were held.
Azerbaijani Proscutor General Kamran Aliyev met with the newly appointed Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Maksat Asanaliev.
During the meeting, a ceremony took place to sign an Agreement on Cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, along with the Cooperation Program for 2025-2026 aimed at further intensifying future relations.
During the visit, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev met with Türkiye's newly appointed Prosecutor General Muhsin Shenturk. as well as the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
Kamran Aliyev also announced that Azerbaijan will host the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change from September 29 to October 2 of this year, as well as the 29th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors. He invited his colleagues to participate in these prestigious events.
The meetings were attended by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kyrgyzstan Latif Gandilov.
