Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov held consultations with his Russian counterpart Alexander Grushko in Moscow, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia released information in this regard, Paralel.Az reports.

Noted that the situation in the South Caucasus and surrounding regions, European Union and NATO problems, as well as the activities of the Council of Europe in the region and other issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.

It was also stated that the meeting took place in the spirit of Russian-Azerbaijani relations in friendly and trusting conditions.
