Ukraine in Washington seeks US permission to target Russian airfields - Foreign Minister
Ukraine is working in Washington to obtain US permission to use long-range weapons to strike military airfields in Russia, according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, Paralel.Az reports citing RBC Ukraine.
"We will work on another decision that is not directly dependent on NATO but depends on the United States. This will be discussed during contacts with American officials and our other closest partners," Kuleba said.
He added that this involves permission to use long-range US weapons on military airfields in Russia.
"We need to ruthlessly destroy all military targets that are in any way connected to the bombings and missile strikes on Ukraine," the Minister noted.
