White House confirms Biden's meetings with Starmer and Zelenskiy at NATO summit

 

U.S. President Joe Biden will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and new British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Washington. This was announced at a briefing by John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator at the White House National Security Council, Paralel.Az reports citing UNN.

"On Wednesday, the president will hold his first bilateral meeting with the new British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, at the White House," Kirby said.

According to Kirby, on July 11, Biden will host "an event with President Zelensky and about two dozen allies and partners who have bilateral security agreements with Ukraine.

Note that from July 9 to 11, a NATO summit will be held in Washington, D.C., in honor of the 75th anniversary of the signing of the North Atlantic Treaty in 1949.
