Belarus leader: "Ukraine forces more active on Belarusian border"
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko noted Tuesday that the Ukrainian forces have become more active on the border with Belarus in recent days as a consequence of a Russian contingent visiting Minsk to participate in a military parade, Paralel.Az reports citing BBN.
Speaking at a ceremonial meeting, Lukashenko mentioned that Belarusian forces have secured the southern and western borders in an attempt to prevent any escalation.
He emphasized that his government "will not allow any clashes on the border with Ukraine," stressing that neither Minsk nor Kyiv needs them.
