Moscow hosts meeting of Russian-Azerbaijani Interparliamentary Commission -PHOTO

 

A meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani Interparliamentary Commission was held in Moscow, Paralel.Az’s Moscow correspondent reports.

The 21st meeting of the Inter-parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Russian Federation Andrey Yatskin.

Senator Yatskin noted that the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are constantly developing on the basis of the traditions of good neighborliness, mutual respect and consideration of each other's interests.

Andrey Yatskin stressed that the inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two states is actively developing.

Ali Huseynli, the first deputy chairman of the Milli Majlis, noted in his speech that the meeting of the Cooperation Commission will make an important contribution to the development of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations.

During the meeting, also, the signing ceremony of the work plan ("roadmap") of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2024-2026 was held.
