Turkish President visits main opposition party quarters for first time in 18 years
For the first time in 18 years, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday visited the headquarters of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), where he will hold talks with leader Ozgur Ozel, Paralel.Az reports citing Bulgarian News Agency.
The opposition Republican People's Party came first in the local elections on March 31 this year and after the victory Ozgur Ozel took the initiative and for the first time in eight years visited Erdoğan at the headquarters of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) where they talked for nearly one and a half hours.
