Zhoghovurd: Nikol Pashinyan's party decided to disrupt parliamentary session on resignation of government


The Civil Contract faction decided not to participate in the meeting to be held at the initiative of the Armenian opposition of the parliament, Zhoghovurd newspaper writes, Paralel.Az reports.

It was reported in the article that at the faction's meeting held the other day, an unanimous decision was made that the quorum was not met:

“There was no disagreement on this issue in the faction. Everyone who participated in the meeting was against the matter of impeachment, despite the protests,” – the newspaper noted.

Note that an extraordinary meeting "Regarding the resignation of the Government" will be held in the Armenian Parliament at the request of the opposition MPs. The Speaker of Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan has signed an Order in this regard. It was reported that the extraordinary meeting will be held on June 17 at 18:30 PM.
