The remains of the martyr Javid Alakbarov Fazil, who went missing during the First Garabagh War and whose burial place and identity was determined 30 years later, were laid to rest, Paralel.Az reports.

A farewell ceremony was held for martyr Javid Alakbarov in Sumgait.

The remains of the martyr were laid to rest in the Sumgait Alley of Martyrs.

Note that Javid Alakbarov Fazil was born on April 25, 1975 in Novlu village of the Gubadli district. In 1993, he was in active military service in the ranks of the Azerbaijan Army. He participated in battles for Kalbajar, Murovdag and surrounding heights. He went missing on February 16, 1994 at Murovdag heights.

He was buried as an unknown martyr in the Alley of Martyrs in Ganja.
