Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov paid a visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told Paralel.Az.

The Prime Minister and his delegation are in Tehran.

The delegation led by PM Ali Asadov will attend the official memorial ceremony held in Tehran for the tragic death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir Abdullahian and other accompanying persons in a helicopter crash.

Noted that on May 22, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the delegation led by Prime Minister Ali Asadov will participate in the official commemoration ceremony held in Tehran over the tragic death of Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, and other accompanying individuals in a helicopter crash.

The delegation includes Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, members of the working group of the Milli Majlis on Azerbaijan-Iran inter-parliamentary relations and other officials.
