Armenian Parliament's Speaker considers it unacceptable for priest Bagrat to engage in politics

Speaker of Armenia's Parliament Alen Simonyan considers it unacceptable for a religious figure to engage in politics, he said in this regard to the reporters as he commented on the protests of archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, Paralel.Az reports citing Armenian media.

"Politics is trade and Bible says: "Don't make my Father's house a marketplace!". In your opinion, isn't it a trade when we conduct negotiations with international partners? If you create a coalition, you make a list, this itself is a deal. And the church has abandoned its work and is now dealing with this," he said.
