"AzInTelecom" LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan joined the Global Compact of the United Nations (UN), Paralel.Az-Economics reports citing the ministry.

Thus, "AzInTelecom", as a member of the UN Global Agreement, will adapt its activities to "green" development directions and obligations. Taking into account that 2024 has been declared "Green World Solidarity Year" in Azerbaijan and the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) will be held in Azerbaijan, more attention will be paid in the organization's activities on environmental issues and the promotion of "green" technologies.
