6.5-magnitude quake hits 109 km ESE of Kimbe, Papua New Guinea

 

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 jolted 109 km ESE of Kimbe, Papua New Guinea, at 20:56:29 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, Paralel.Az reports citing Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 64.7 km, was initially determined to be at 5.85 degrees south latitude and 151.08 degrees east longitude.
