Western intervention disrupts already achieved harmony in South Caucasus, Russian MFA Spokesperson says

 

“Russia has shown itself as an effective mediator for the South Caucasus,” said Maria Zakharova, the official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia at briefing she held today, Paralel.Az's Moscow correspondent reports.

According to her, Russia's mediation was not a conjuncture, but a reconciliation of contradictions for the sake of peace in the region.

“The the West appeared. Out of anger, jealousy, and fear that peace will be established here, it started to act against the countries of the region. As for Armenia, each sovereign state has its own point of view. The issue is that sometimes the intervention of the West disturbs the already achieved harmony in the region,” – Russian MFA official stressed.
