Azerbaijan toughens penalties for non-compliance with rules of state of emergency regime

 

Azerbaijan toughens the penalties for violating the requirements of the emergency regime, this was reflected in the amendments proposed to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Paralel.Az reports.

According to the draft, for failure to comply with the rules of conduct during the application of a state of emergency regime in the acquisition, sale and distribution of daily necessities and food, individuals will be fined in the amount of 150 to 250 manats, or, taking into account the circumstances of the case and the identity of the offender, administrative arrest will be applied for a period of up to one month; officials - in the amount of 350 to 600 manats, and legal entities will be fined in the amount of 1,500 to 2,500 manats.

The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
