Crocus...after the bloody terrorism -PHOTO REPORTAGE

The terrorism act committed in Crocus City Hall in Moscow on March 22 shocked the whole of Russia.

We present Paralel.Az's Moscow correspondent Farid Akbarov's report from the location where terrorism was committed.

"Myakinino" station of the Moscow metro... This metro station was built by an Azerbaijani-origin businessman Araz Agalarov, so that especially the residents of the capital could easily come to the shopping and entertainment center Crocus City. The comfort of the residents was taken into account when the metro station was built. So, the subway has direct access to most of the facilities in Crocus City. For that exact reason, immediately after the terrorist attack, the subway exit in the direction of Crocus City Hall was closed for residents.

The police and metro staff direct us in the opposite direction. The exit in the opposite direction leads to Vegas City, where the concert of People's Artist of Azerbaijan Roya Aykhan (postponed due to terrorism act – ed) was planned.

All of the facilities in Crocus City have ceased its operation due to the terrorist attack. A large number of trucks were involved in the area. The police, investigative committee employees, as well as special service agencies and other power structures in civilian clothes are on duty at the scene of the incident. No one is allowed near Crocus City Hall, where the terrorism act took place. However, unlike last night, access to the surrounding area, i.e. the Crocus Expo exhibition center, located next to the building where the terrorissim attack took place, is allowed.

Residents of Moscow, as well as local and foreign media representatives, gathered in the parking lot around Crocus City Hall. A cordon consisting of police and trucks allows viewing the building where the terrorism act took place only from a distance of 50 meters.

Crocus City Hall concert hall named after Muslim Magomayev... the place where the terrorism act took place… The second and third floors of the building were almost burnt, turned into ashes. Part of the roof has collapsed. The corpses of dozens of people who were buried under the debris until now after the fire, as well as suffocated by the smoke of the fire, who were on the fire stairs, as well as in the toilet room, have been taken out and transported to the morgues.

Moscow residents with flowers in their hands approach the sign installed in the parking lot of Crocus City Hall. The police do not stop them. People lay flowers and share the grief of the relatives of those killed in the terrorist attack.
