Armenia has not taken any legal action regarding leaving CSTO - Kazakhstan MFA

 

Armenia has not taken any legal action regarding leaving the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko told journalists, Paralel.Az reports citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The Foreign Minister noted that the organization has and is also play an important role for the security of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and this will be the same in the future as well.

Vassilenko also added that despite the loud statements of the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan regarding CSTO, Kazakhstan still has not seen Armenia take any legal action in the direction of leaving the organization.

"The representative of Kazakhstan is currently the CSTO Secretary General and the country is trying to strengthen the CSTO, because this is quite important for the security of the state," Vassilenko stressed.
