“Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan's statements regarding Russia calling for a coup d'état in Armenia have no basis,” said Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia during the weekly briefing she held today, Paralel.Az reports.

The diplomat stressed that the Russian officials never and in nowhere participated in in the slightest calls for overthrowing the legally elected authorities.

“The Russian side declares a similar approach to the current leadership of official Yerevan, as well as to the previous authorities, in general, to any sovereign state," Maria Zakharova emphasized.
