Japan hit by 5.1-magnitude earthquake
A 5.1-magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of Japan, according to data provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), Paralel.Az reports citing Japanese media.
The tremor struck at a shallow depth of about 10.0 kilometers and its epicenter was some 128 kilometers east of the Japanese city of Miyako, home to an estimated population of 51,150.
There were no reports of any casualties or damages.
