Armenia to keep purchasing weaponry from France

 

Armenia will continue to buy weaponry from France, said Suren Papikyan, the Armenian Defense during a joint press conference with his French counterpart Sébastien Lecornu who is visiting Armenia’s Yerevan, Paralel.Az reports.

Papikyan noted that regardless of the level of providing security in the region after signing the peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, Armenia will continue to purchase weaponry from France.”

The Armenian Minister also emphasized that the military cooperation between Armenia and France covers almost all fields of military forces of Armenia: “The support for military education, joint training, and, of course, the process of the development of military-technical cooperation for the modernization of defense equipment should be especially emphasized in the direction of reforms in the defense field.”
