Failure of Ukraine's counteroffensive exposes ineffective Western strategies — Shoigu
Western warfare methods and technologies are not unique or successful, as proven by the results of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counter-offensive, Russia's Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said in an interview with TASS Editor-in-Chief Mikhail Petrov, Paralel.Az reports.
"Of course, the results of this operation showed that their (Western - TASS) methods, their warfare technologies are not so unique or successful, because neither you nor I can name a single place where they carried out at least one more or less [successful] operation - be it Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, or Syria," Shoigu said.
He added that Russian troops created unbearable conditions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Avdeyevka, and the enemy was forced to flee. "All of this allows us to say today that we repressed the enemy to the point where they had to flee because unbearable conditions were created," Shoigu said.
