According to him, Baku-Tbilisi-Gars railway is the most prominent example of this:

“In order to achieve the highest result from this line, it is necessary to complete reconstruction works. Together with Mr. Aliyev, we signed the memorandum on intent on the Kars-Nakhchivan railway project during my visit to Nakhchivan, the gateway to Türkiye in September.

Erdogan also stressed that increasing the transmission capacity of TANAP and transporting natural gas extracted from the Caspian Sea to Türkiyə and Europe are priorities:

“I would like to remind that we have reached to a new level in the field of energy with the Igdir-Nakhchivan natural gas pipeline project, which we laid the foundation stone for."
