Russian Duma speaker blames US, EU for Navalny's death
Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said on Friday that both Washington and Brussels are to blame for the unexpected death of Russia's opposition politician Alexey Navalny, Paralel.Az reports citing Tele Trader.
"The cause will be determined by forensic experts and investigation," Volodin said, adding that the collective West, from NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and the US leadership to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, will benefit the most from Navalny's death.
