“US military aid to Ukraine is important. This includes the aid of the US, Europe, and Azerbaijan as well,” US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark W. Libby said during the press conference, Paralel.Az reports.

He stated that the policy and intention of the US government is to help Ukraine. Addressing the issue in the US Congress regarding the approval of aid to Ukraine, the ambassador noted that such cases occur in real democracy.

“Disagreement, and discussions about certain issues are normal,” the ambassador said.

The diplomat stated that the process of approving the aid package continues.

“Political line so far indicates that this aid should continue. I don’t believe that everything is over. Supporting Ukraine is in the interest of both the United States and, I think, the countries neighboring Ukraine, including Azerbaijan” he said.
