At least 6 killed, 16 injured in strike on Russia's Belgorod-UPDATED
Up to six people may have been killed, sixteen injured in missile strikes on the city of Belgorod in southwestern Russia, the Defense Ministry-run Zvezda television channel said Thursday, Paralel.Az reports citing the state-run RIA Novosti news agency.
Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has not yet commented on the reported deaths.
He previously warned residents of an active air raid siren.
The Defense Ministry said it had intercepted 14 Ukrainian RM-70 multiple rocket launcher shells over the Belgorod region at around noon. It did not comment on the casualties.

Russia's state-owned RIA Novosti news agency said the missile strikes on Belgorod hit a local shopping centre.
As a result of the attack, 6 people died and 10 people were injured.
