Investment in fixed capital in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.553 million manats in January 2024, marking a 37,4% growth in comparison to a previous year, Paralel.Az-Economics reports citing State Statistical Committee.

Investments in the oil-and-gas sector increased by 44,5%, and in the non-oil-and-gas sector surged by 34,1%.

During the reporting period, 707,3 million manats, or 45,5%, were made in production, 782,6 million manats, or 50,4%, in services, and 63,1 million manats, or 4,1%, in housing construction.

1284.3 million manats or 82.7% of the funds directed to the fixed capital were made up of domestic funds. 1167.7 million manats or 75.2% of the funds directed to the fixed capital were spent directly on the construction and installation works.
