The next resettlement convoy seen off from Garadagh district of Baku on January 30 has arrived in Azerbaijan's Lachin, the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons of Azerbaijan told Paralel.Az.

The residents were presented with house keys.

The families were welcomed by the officials of the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in the Lachin region, which is part of the Eastern Zangezur economic district as well as the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

The resettled families will settle in the houses rebuilt in Lachin. At this stage, 23 more families (72 people) were resettled to the city of Lachin. Thus, the permanent settlement in the city of Lachin has been provided for 431 families - 1627 people.
