Current U.S. administration is "not interested" in any sort of political dialogue with Russia - Foreign Minister

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with CBS stated that the current United States administration is "not interested" in any sort of political dialogue with Russia, Paralel.Az reports.

Lavrov stressed that the topics Russia and the US engage in "from time to time" are never about political issues, but rather deal with the functioning of the country's embassies in Washington and Moscow, the missions of Russian diplomats in New York and other non-political issues. Lavrov went on to say that Russia is not against negotiations, as the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed in Davos, and that Moscow will listen to any "serious proposal."

"We will be ready to listen to all those who are really interested in justice, including the justice created in relations between Russia and Ukraine, which will include, of course, the cessation of Western policy of using Ukraine as an instrument of war against Russia," the minister said.
