Turkish, Ukrainian presidents mull regional issues

 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a phone talk with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Presidential Administration of Türkiye disclosed, Paralel.Az's Türkiye correspondent reports.

It was noted that regional and global problems, especially the Ukraine-Russia war, were discussed during the conversation.

During the talk, President Erdogan said that Türkiye is making great efforts to stop the bloodshed and ensure permanent peace both in Ukraine and in the Palestinian territories.

Erdogan also emphasized that Türkiye is ready to take on the role of a mediator to ensure peace in Ukraine and to host peace talks.
