On December 19, a meeting was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Special Representative of Russian President on International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan told Paralel.Az.

According to the report, the issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia in humanitarian and cultural fields, as well as the regional situation were discussed at the meeting.

Special Representative Mikhail Shvydkoy informed about the events held in Russia in connection with the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, which is celebrated this year, and stated that he is ready to support the implementation of joint activities between the two countries in the fields of culture and humanitarianism in the next year as well.

At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest as well.
