Armenia could acquire the Indian-built surface-to-air missile (SAM), Akash, Paralel.Az reports citing The EurAsian Times.

It is noted that documents suggest that the order for the same has already been placed.

The manufacturer "Bharat Dynamics Limited" has already received export orders for the air defense system, the source says.

It is assumed that the buyer is the Armenian side.
