Armenia is ready to establish 7 checkpoints on border with Azerbaijan and Türkiye

 

Armenia is ready to establish 7 border checkpoints on the border with Azerbaijan and Türkiye, said Gnel Sanosyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia, during Ministerial Meeting of the Landlocked Developing Countries that’s being held Yerevan, Paralel.Az reports.

According to Armenian Minister, his country is ready to establish 7 checkpoints on the Armenia-Azerbaijan and Armenia-Türkiye borders, to ensure connection between Armenia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye by restoring four railway sections, as well as, is ready to install 1 crossing point on Armenia-Türkiye border, 4 crossing points on Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

“Armenia declares that, it’s ready to create and restore all the infrastructures that will ensure connection with region countries within the framework of the International North–South Transport Corridor (INSTC) and the East-West Transport Corridor projects by "Crossroads of Peace" program,” the Minister added.
