Azerbaijani Orkhan Ibadov becomes World Memory Champion

 

On November 24-26, World Memory Championships took place in Mumbai city of India, Paralel.Az reports.

At the competition with the participation of 780 of the world's strongest memory owners, Orkhan Ibadov, representing Azerbaijan, became the World memory champion in two categories (Numbers and Names & Faces). He memorized 3412 numbers in order within an hour and made history by setting a New World Record.

Orkhan Ibadov also memorized 146 faces, names and ssurnames correctly within 15 minutes and outperformed all his competitors. Additionally, he won silver medals in 4 categories and bronze medals in 2 categories and became the competitor who won the most medals of the competition.

Note that this result is the highest victory of the Republic of Azerbaijan in international intellectual competitions during the period of independence.
