"Ukraine will not join the European Union in the near future," said Vladislav Kanevsky, Ukraine's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan told journalists, Paralel.Az reports.

Diplomat emphasized that yesterday the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky visited the US and several crucial agreements will be obtained:

“In parallel, the meeting is being held in Brussels in the framework of the European Union. The membership of Ukraine to the Union is being discussed. Of course, the membership to EU will not happen in coming days but as you see, Ukraine is going forward from military and political standpoints. We are rooted in a positive spirit, the truth is on our side, and the friendly countries that help us are with us,” the diplomat added.
