West deceives Armenia in selling fake military equipment - Russian MFA

"The West knows how to deceive. We would not want the Armenian people to be deceived by their Western friends again," said Maria Zakharova, the Spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs while commenting on Armenia's military-technical cooperation with the West and France's supply of "Bastion" armored vehicles to Yerevan, Paralel.Az's Moscow correspondent reports.

M. Zakharova reminded that they have already talked in this regard and added that the Bastions given by France to Armenia are illiquid military equipment: "It is obvious. This became known in the context of a special military operation. I said this at the briefing dated November 22. If the mass media connected to the current government in Armenia had not distorted this information, had not been engaged in anti-journalism activities, and had allowed the people of their country to get acquainted with quotes and direct speech, it would probably have been understood that the Armenian people were introduced to fake military equipment by the Western countries. Why do we call it fake? Because this complicated military equipment produced by different countries has never helped to augment the defense capability."
