North Korea says its reconnaissance satellite launched successfully

 

North Korea has successfully put in orbit its first reconnaissance satellite, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Tuesday, Paralel.Az reports.

It said that the satellite said was launched from the Sohae spaceport at 10:42 p.m. (13:42 GMT) and put in orbit at 10:54 p.m. (13:54 GMT).

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un watched the launch. He congratulated all those who were involved in it.
