On November 21, 2023, 12 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including 8 children and 4 women, who were detained in camps located in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, were repatriated to country as a result of phased and coordinated measures taken by the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Rules for Repatriation and rehabilitation of minor citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan living in difficult conditions in a Foreign Country" approved by Decree No. 2336 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 28, 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan told Paralel.Az.
