80% of the 2024 overview budget will be spent on sustainable development goals, Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy as he delivered speech during 2nd Baku Forum on Sustainable Development, Paralel.Az-Economics reports.

He said that in order to reach SDGs goals, 350 thousand new jobs have been created: “This means an average of 70 thousand jobs per year. Our next goal is to focus not only on the number of jobs but also to focus on the development of areas that increase their quality."
