The Russian politician, deputy K. Zatulin commented on Sargsyan's resignation from the presidency in the following way: “This resignation is long overdue. It's amazing that it's so late.
The current government, based on the parliamentary majority, is losing ground in the country. Apparently, the Pashinyan team is not able to cope with the domestic political situation. It is obvious that the government is trying with great difficulty to defend the interests of Armenia in the foreign arena.
It would be good if Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he would take full responsibility for the consequences of the war and resign. This would pave the way for a renewal of the political arena in Armenia.
