11 soldiers killed in ISIS attack in Iraq

 

This morning, 11 Iraqi soldiers were killed in a militant attack in Diyala province, northeast of Baghdad. As a result of the shelling, 11 servicemen were killed. The area where the incident took place is regularly attacked by militants due to poor security measures on the border between the provinces of Diyala and Salahaddin.
Over the past year, militants have carried out more than 250 attacks in Iraq, including ambushes, suicide attacks, fake checkpoints, kidnappings and rocket attacks, according to the Iraqi government. The victims of these attacks were 387 people, more than 500 people were injured.
