Ankara does not want Turkish-Armenian talks to take place in Russia
The next round of talks on the normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations will take place next week. According to reports from Ankara, Turkey does not want these talks to take place in a third country, Russia.
This is stated in the statement of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
"The next round of negotiations with Armenia will be appointed by special representatives of both sides. We want the negotiations to take place in Turkey and Armenia, there is no need for a third country."
