On the sidelines of the UNGA79, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov attended and addressed Informal Ministerial Dialogue on the New Collective Quantified Goal on Climate Finance (NCQG), Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on X platform, Paralel.Az reports.

"During his speech, Minister Bayramov highlighted Azerbaijan's COP29

vision of enhancing ambition and enabling action by focusing on climate finance to deliver a fair and ambitious outcome at COP29. Talking about several COP29 presidency initiatives, Minister Bayramov also underlined the contribution of informal dialogues to discussion of the several important matters, such as NCQG, as well as finding common ground," noted the MFA.
