As Paralel.az reports, the Indian government has approved the use of a new local vaccine and antiviral drug to protect against coronavirus.
To further strengthen the fight against COVID-19, three permits were issued daily for the Corbevax vaccine, the Comvax vaccine and the antiviral drug molnupiravir.
Corbevax vaccine is the third coronavirus vaccine in India.
India has the second highest number of COVID-19 cases in the world.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, the total number of people infected with the virus has exceeded 34.7 million, more than 480 thousand people have died.
