As Paralel.az reports, died Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Professor, State Prize Laureate, Honored Worker of Science and Technology Farid Dadashov.
F. Dadashov, born in 1930, has been working at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS since 1957.
The geological community of Azerbaijan knew Farid Dadashov as an outstanding scientist in the field of oil and gas geology, geochemistry of natural gases and the development of methods for geochemical exploration of minerals.
His forecasts were confirmed by the discovery of a number of large oil, gas and gas condensate fields in the South Caspian. He was one of the first explorers of the Guneshli offshore oil field.
