On August 23, law enforcement officers found and detained four active patients with coronavirus in public places.
This was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Police officers interviewed them and returned them home while awaiting medical procedures, the relevant health authorities said. A criminal case was initiated against one person under Article 139-1.1 (violation of anti-epidemic and quarantine regimes) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The investigation is ongoing.
