On August 16, 2021, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu.
The statement came from the Foreign Ministry.
It was noted that the ministers exchanged views on the current situation in the region and the agenda of bilateral cooperation.
During the telephone conversation, the parties also discussed the joint activities of the Turkish and Azerbaijani peacekeepers in Afghanistan, the current state of the mission.
