Water shortages have reached catastrophic proportions
Despite the fact that most of the water basins in the liberated areas are under our control, in most of the country, especially in the Aran zone, there is an acute shortage of water. People not only cannot irrigate farmland, but also have difficulty accessing drinking water, which they buy every day in many localities.
According to a source in Agjabadi, villages in the region, especially in the upper part of the Karabakh canal - Mehrabli, Garadolag, Yeni Garadolag, Kabirli, state farm, arable land in the direction of the Harami plain, as well as the village of Aran with. Beylagan region, Guneshli, Orangala, in the villages of Bakharabad, cotton fields were burned and destroyed due to lack of water. The situation is so critical that residents are forced to drink the water they buy for their livestock. It looks like the problem can be solved. A resident of the village who spoke to us said that on the eve of the destruction of the cotton field sown by the farmer, the farmer spent 70-80 manat and after sending a series of telegrams to the relevant government agencies, including the president finally managed to evict Agjabadi officials from their offices. They not only went out into the street, but also "closely" took part in the irrigation of the farmer's cotton field. This fact gives grounds to say that the problem is not in our solution, but as a result of the irresponsible approach of the responsible structures. In our opinion, this issue should be addressed in a comprehensive manner, and not individually. Because the aforementioned problem of water scarcity exists in most of the villages of the two agricultural regions included in the Aran zone. This situation, that is, the despair of tomorrow, cools the peasant's hand off the ground and facilitates the flow into the city.
