Armenian Minister: "If communications in the region are not blocked, the railway will pass through Nakhchivan, Meghri and Ijevan"

According to Paralel.az, Armenian media cover the issue of communication in the region. According to the report, Minister of Territorial Development and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan told reporters after the government meeting that if communications in the region are not blocked, the railway will pass through Nakhchivan, Meghri and Ijevan. For example, if we talk about the railway, it is impossible to open a quarter without infrastructure. There is a need to build a new one in areas where there are no roads.
According to the information, the situation in this direction will be the same as in the USSR, taking into account the railway passing through Nakhchivan and Meghri: “In Soviet times, a railway passed through Ijevan. Probably, if there is peace in the region and we can fully open up relations, it will be economically profitable to work in these areas.
According to the report, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government meeting on August 12 that it is necessary to strengthen the work on delimitation and demarcation. Pashinyan said that one of the issues to be resolved in the near future is the opening of communications in the region.
