The number of people infected with COVID-19 in the world has exceeded 203.3 million.

 

According to Johns Hopkins University in the United States, the number of people infected with COVID-19 stood at 203,389,418 on Tuesday morning.
Since the virus began to spread, 4,303,060 people have died and tested positive for COVID-19.
The United States, India and Brazil are among the countries with more than 15 million people infected with COVID-19.
The leader in the number of infections and deaths remains the United States, where 35,948,170 cases of COVID-19 infection were detected, and the death toll rose to 617,321.
In India, the total number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has reached 31,998,158, and 428,682 have died from the infection. India has the second highest number of infected people.
Brazil ranks third in the world in terms of the number of infections, where 20,177,757 cases of infection were recorded during the pandemic - 563,562 people died.
According to the portal Worldometer, which specializes in statistics of the most important events in the world, the death rate per million people in the world on Tuesday was 553.8 people. For every million patients in the United States, 1902 died, 307 in India and 2631 in Brazil.
