There is a problem with water in Khankendi

According to Paralel.az, Armenian media reported on the water problem in Khankendi. According to media reports, unofficial messages appeared on social networks about the participation of Azerbaijanis in the problem of supplying the city. Commenting on rumors that spread throughout the city and on social networks, the city's deputy mayor Radi Abrahamyan told Sputnik Armenia that the water problems in Khankendi are not related to the activities of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. The message reads: “Information was spread on social networks that the lack of water in the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh is connected with the water blockade of the Azerbaijani armed forces. It is alleged that this happened because of their control over a dam near the village of Gaybalishen near Stepanakert. This information is not true. The lack of water is caused by heat. The dam itself is in the neutral zone, and Azerbaijan controls it in the same way as we do. Problems may arise if it is possible to work there, but this is done with the mediation of peacekeepers. Therefore, at the moment this issue is not important. "
Abrahamyan further said that the situation is aggravated by the concentration of a significant number of people who have lost their homes in other regions of Nagorno-Karabakh in Stepanakert (Khankendi.red.). Thus, water consumption in the city has increased significantly. According to him, the current problem also existed in previous years.
